activity guide
objective:
warm up the group and spark playfulness by tapping into memory, movement, and shared meaning.
instructions:
- explain the game as an online version of the card game memory but with people instead of cards.
- turn cameras on.
- each round, the facilitator privately assigns matching pairs a shared identity (sent via chat or DM):
- Round 1: animals
- Round 2: feelings
- Round 3: objects
- all participants act out their identity with movement or sound (no words).
- while everyone is acting, players try to find their matching “card” by observing and guessing.
- when someone thinks they’ve found their match, they name the person and what they are.
- facilitator confirms if it’s a match. If wrong, keep playing.
- continue until all matches are found.
- optional twist: final round where participants create their own matching categories
